Green Eggs and Ham

We ended our super fun Seuss week with Green Eggs and Ham.  In the morning, we ate green eggs and ham.  Delicious!  Thank you to Mrs. Hoke, Mrs. Clark, and Mrs. Fisher.  The children LOVED it! Of course, we read the story.  And, we did a graph of if we liked Green Eggs and Ham or not.

We also did a rewrite of the story.  The students had to think of something they didn't like to eat and make some rhymes to go with!  They turned out great! The students had to work really hard on the rhymes.

We had our Papa John's pizza party.  Yum!  What a fun day of delicious treats.  Don't forget for dessert, Mrs. Tuhy made us candied green eggs and ham.  We are just the LUCKIEST to have so many generous and supportive friends of the classroom.

At the end of the day, we took a look at all the great Dr. Seuss books.  Students chose their favoirite to do a mini book report on.  The students' opinions were as varied as Dr. Seuss' many characters. What a great week of reading!
