This week we continued to work on subtraction. Subtraction is a tough concept so I am always looking for new and interesting ways to practice. I found these great minus mustaches from a teacher blogger named Elizabeth Hall. The children got in lots of subtraction practice in between all the giggles!
We practiced so many other ways in class as well. We did a QR hunt, played different partner games, solved pocket chart puzzles, used manipulatives (or sometimes our snack) and did story problems in our math journals.
